How often do you feel ‘I don’t know?’
How often do you feel ‘stagnated?
How often do you feel ‘alone?’
Everyone does at some point in their life and yet they survive from birth till the death of their physical body. Most humans think that they are born or so we are taught. But is it a distinct event on this planet Earth or a process resulting from another which is also a result of another process? Well, that’s purely reproductive biology when examined as you are born out of your biological father and mother, who are offsprings of their parents which made them your grandparents, who were born out of your great grandparents. That is a male sperm cell conceives a female ovarian egg.
So when were you created?
The moment your biological mother got conceived, or the moment you were born or with your first breath?
But what if you were a stillborn? The fact that you are reading this implies you have a life.
In other words, when did you become alive?
Or was your life divided between your mother’s and father’s reproductive cells before you with half-life fertilized the other half which was just an egg in your mother’s ovary?
Studies say a normal female ovary contains about 2 million eggs at birth. Since females do not produce new eggs, the total number of eggs in a woman’s body decreases gradually every month until menopause. By the time a girl reaches puberty, only about 25% of her original egg pool remains, around 300,000. And by around the age of 50, only about 1000 immature eggs remain.
So were you that one egg among 2 million eggs that your mother was born with or do you believe you were the sperm cell from your father that chose to fertilize that one egg? Going back to the genesis of these processes, each school of philosophy tells different stories. Coming from a Christian family, for me Adam and Eve were the first humans. But unfortunately, my biological parents sent me to school where I got in touch with another process called Science. Thus my curiosity didn’t stop at Adam or Eve.
So are you just a result of the past evolution which has been labelled with various names starting with procreation, evolution and the Big Bang?
Also, when did those two cells which were your parents’ become you?
The irony is that biology doesn’t start when one is conceived, but around 3.8 billion years ago, when single-cell organisms started to emerge on this planet which is also called the formation of life. And for that life to form on this planet, it took around 10 billion years from the universe’s beginning.
So when did you have your life?
14 billion years ago when this Cosmos was formed or created?
Or do you believe that life was formed with the emergence of the first single-cell organisms or all this is just an absurd reality?
And what about the causation that formed life?
Or do you believe the story where some asteroid or meteorite brought life?
Or do you believe aliens dropped off life here?
Was their life in matter?
What do you believe? In search of answers to self, the quest grows to what is life, giving you infinite knowledge as answers to life and you.
While I was looking for answers to myself and this Cosmos, for almost 3 years my stand was, ‘I don’t believe in the belief system of the human brain’.
All my life I lived with this void of not knowing who I am and what to do with this life, carrying the burden of ‘I don’t know’ which ‘stagnated’ everywhere being ‘alone’ until I connected all the dots I had which was myself with life.
Life is like a game of chess. No matter how smart you are with all your visions, uncertainty always comes into play and gives you a checkmate! What if you are prepared to take all the checks that life makes on you?
Over the next 4 articles I shall share how you can find yourself by following simple processes like life’s evolution.
