For ages, we have been together.

You have been my father and mother,
my sister and my brother,
my friend and guardian!

I call you my guardian angel.

When I was lost,
you directed me.

When I was hopeless,
you pushed me.

When I was in agony,
you consoled me.

You were there until I was free,
from the world and me.

Now when you need me,
I am not there.

For I have found my destiny.
And I need to learn and grow!

Today we crossed paths again,
but I had to walk away.
