The Dance

Every morning, as I open my eyes,
the light of the universe enters
my window and I see the floating dust!

On such beautiful days as today,
I lie watching these dust float
with the wind and dance along in flow!

As I step out with the thought
of dancing dust, I see we are all dancers
in our universe, as the world tells us to!

And then I met dancers who were
unique and floated on their own,
listening to their heart, carefree!

Some I meet are not just dancers who
follow their hearts, but they also change
the wind and make others dance to their hearts!

This night I lie down here in darkness,
thinking of the dancing dust above me,
trying to find them as hope as I found in light!

They exist and they are dancing in the dark
with their hidden moves!

I call them my stardust!

  1. Motes need light to reveal their hues
Seem effortless their sways may be
If one interlinked force infinitesimally skew
Will explode in a way, we’d never see

The sight evokes gratitude as it does awe
And as mammoth mysteries reveal themselves
Spurring endeavors to find that unified law
When we aren’t wreaking havoc with ourselves
