The world has changed.
The world has been infected!
For we have changed.
For we have been infected!
The memories of the touch,
is now a data in some space.
The sound of the laughter,
is now a reaction on a click.
Some spaces shut then,
and then some opened.
Many bid final bye,
and many await a hi.
They said it is a virus,
the virus said it is life.
They said to be inside,
and we said it is life.
And yet they went out,
for they are dying inside out.
Some cried of hunger,
and they said let’s hold on.
And yet they went out,
for it is for bread and butter.
But they don’t come near,
for they say it is the virus.
They don’t show their faces,
for they say it is infectious.
We await for them to leave,
while some are at work to solve.
We are trying to kill the virus,
filled with prayers and hopes.
We are trying to hold on to time,
for we are dying inside out.
We are struggling to survive,
for the world has changed.
Some gave up the fight inside,
and some stood up to fight it out.
They all spoke of peace and truce,
but no one understood the truth.
That we are all fighting battles,
different, bigger and inner battles.
The battles inside us and some out,
for centuries that is the way out.
The battles of life for
just peace and happiness.
The world has changed,
now the battles are intense.
Will the battles be over when
this battle against the virus is won?
No, not yet!
Only the world might be back.
The battles inside will go on,
for we are born onto a battleground!
The battles of life!
For we are infected, not with virus,
but with life!
